imback!:)

Ok,been on a blogger’s block lately.. hahahaha. Have been very lazy to blog even though quite a few things have been happening. I’ll try my best to remember the few bits of highlights during the past week and jot it down here.

The last time I blooged was the one where I posted up this bunch of pictures. And gave you this excuse where pictures tell a thousand words. Well, that was all bullshit cause I was actually just pure lazy to post anything up :D

Ok, I’ll start from last Saturday lah since I promised to blog last weekend but didn’t. HAHAHA. Ok, so here goes..

Breakfast at Papar town after visiting gong-gong.

27th September 2008 (Saturday)

Last Saturday was actually my Gong-Gong’s 4th Anniversary since he passed. I still remembered the day and also the day before very clearly. It was year 2004 and therefore the AF fever was so freaking crazy! I think AF2 was the year where it had the most fans and their caption “Dah Demam” could not have been more suitableJ Well, the day before was the 26th September 2004, and me, veron, jacq, my sis, michelle and lleufer decided to attend the Af Konsert at KDCA, Penampang because we were really into the craze! The days before that we were up and down from KK to Papar non-stop. We only went home when we needed to sleep or shower and other than that we will be at Papar Hospital. But it was during that time that the family really bonded just like when Datuk passed away the year before. I still remembered the night when the Holy Family home called my dad and told him that Gong-Gong was admitted. My parents plus my sister rushed to Papar Hospital that very same night. I still remembered clearly that it was a Thursday night. What I don’t remember though was how come I didn’t follow them that night. Must have been tuition of some sort. Early that morning around 2am, they returned home and I still remember how Mui Li was explaining to me that she was looking for Gong-Gong in the ICU and she couldn’t find him. Then she suddenly saw my parents walk towards a bed with an old unconscious man. My sister had the shock of her life when she found out that it was him. I also was so shocked when I saw him the next morning. Was almost close to tears actually at what I saw. This will also be the day that will be very hard to forget because my Popo was there too. Gong-Gong and Popo have been separated for many many years and it was the most touching thing to actually see her there standing at his bedside and sometimes silently shedding a tear or two. Saturday night will be the night that is also so hard to forget because that was the night that Gong-Gong’s breathing slowed down tremendously. He started to take really slow deep breaths and there were long pauses in between each breath. That was the night that my grandpa became officially unconscious. He did respond to anything we said to him like he did the night before. It was then that all of us gathered around his bed including my dad right beside his head. My grandma then wanted to say something to my grandpa at that time and so daddy tried waking my grandpa up without any response. That was when my dad broke down for the very first time during this whole time. He was keeping it in all this while and it was then that he finally let it all out and that was when everyone knew that gong-gong was going soon and broke down at the sight of daddy breaking down. That was the first time I actually saw my daddy breakdown like that. That very same night, my grandma was also talking to gong-gong even though he didn’t respond. That night on the 25th September 2004, will be a night that will always be stuck in my mind. After my mock exam on the 27th September 2004 at school was when I found out that gong-gong passed away that very morning.

So last Saturday, we went to visit gong-gong at the cemetery in Papar during the morning and it was Nana’s very first time there and meeting gong-gong J

28th September 2008 (Sunday)
Went to mass with Mummy, Mui Li, Chiara and Frances. Daddy went with Kev to the earlier one because Kev had to work.

Ended up babysitting the monkeys today cause my parents went out for a church appointment. Realised this I think around last year that these monkeys are really growing up and are able to look after themselves. Only the youngest monkey of them all, Frances, will sometimes come knocking on my room door asking whether she can come inJ I usually end up shouting at her first and when I hear her going down the stairs I open my room door for her cause she’s just to cute to be shouted at. HAHAHA. That’s usually the case with all my siblings, I shout at them cause it’s the spur of the moment thing where you’re so pissed with them and I still end up apologizing.

29th September 2008 (Monday)
Was not looking forward to work cause of the weekend break and was really looking forward to the Raya break in two days. Was a somewhat busy day but not to the level of going crazyJ Had dinner appointment which my Boss wanted me to join which was with Royal Brunei Airlines UK Media Group. It was okay I guess but lots of conversation.

30th September 2008 (Tuesday)
Today, my Boss took her annual leave for one week and therefore left me with taking the RBA group for the Orang Utan viewing and also to see the Premier Seaview room. They checked out at 11am and after that was suppose to show Teng to Boss for the Bien Bautista photo shoot. Teng ngam2 my cousin so luckily it was easy to talk to herJ Couldn’t wait to go home for Raya holidays. Went for the 12.15am movie at Cathay cinema with Kev and Mui and we watched Eagle Eye. It was okay I guess. Action packed movie but it was a bit too loud and fast for my liking. Probably would give it a 3/5 stars J went home at about 2.30am and didn’t sleep cos I watched the Man Utd match with my dad and bro. They won 3-0 and are finally hitting form. Thank God! :D

1st October 2008 (Wednesday)
Slept in till about 11am and caught up with TV. In the evening just kawan my mom with errands. Ended up at City Mall. Went to the arcade with Josh. Haven’t been to the arcade in ages and it was lots of fun! I know, I’m 21 and should be acting my age
J but it was lots of fun though. Hehehe..

Yesterday I went swimming with the monkeys at SGCC and got a really bad tan on my back. Today my whole body is aching put together with the stiff neck that I’ve been having for the past week not a good combo.

Sorry for the extremely long post but this is what you get when I didn’t blog for a long time. Hope it doesn’t bore you to death and to Nurul Rafeeqa Afdul Mutalip and all my Muslim friends, SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI! And to Jacqueline Teo Fuey Phean, hope everything is good with you cause you sounded a bit upset on your last post.

XOXO
